It is most apparent in medical situations but I too, think it relates to many other areas of life. Thinking positively, knowing that God will lead us well if we are listening and trusting Him, is what I understand Jesus to have been saying. I know that if I am patient and also treating the body that I was given, well, eating and exercising well, thinking good thoughts and rejecting tempting easy ways that really are not good, I will do well. I will and have been Blessed in job situations and health situations that I know would not have turned out well if I had accepted negative thoughts. It was God's plan that we all thrive, I think. It is up to us to be as you say, Donna, positive and to nurture the body, mind and spirit.
